Unfortunately, we will never have every plant sold in garden centers in our database (althogh we're trying). Fortunately, you can easily add plant records to your GardenCenterMarketing.comn plant libray.
- After logging in, click on 'Add Your Own Plants'
- Enter the scientific and common names in the respective fields
- Click the bright gree 'Add Plant Details' button
- Confirm the the Primary and Secondary names (title and subtitle on bench card) are to your liking
- Add a couple of 'salesy' bullet points
- Add the plant type (Tree, Perennial, etc.) . This is a REQUIRED field.
- Click on the relevant characteristics
- Click 'Add This Plant' to add it to your plant library.
- Upload a high resolution image that you have the right to use.
You can edit any of the information you have entered at any time in the future.
Tips for entering text:
If you need to use a symbol please use the following codes:
- For Trademark, ™, use '™'
- For Registered Trademark, ®, use '®'
Do not enter other 'special' characters like <, >, ^, etc. Certain characters will keep your downloads from completing.
Also, do NOT put the full scientific plant name into the Genus field. Use each of the fields for the respective name.
FYI, some customers use this functionality to create signage for non-plant material as well.
